Green Zone Golf Course

A golf course of 18 holes. An outstanding and unique golf course in the golfing world. This international course is situated on the border of Finland and Sweden. The course is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the river Tornio. The border is crossed four times in a full round of golf. The possibility to make a "hole in one" over the border is on the sixth hole. The border is in the middle of the sixth green and the time difference between Finland and Sweden is one hour. Given this fact, your tee shot takes an hour to hit the green. On the return you “putt" back the lost hour. The sun shines 24 hours a day and you can play even during the night. In the Green Zone Golf Course there is a par-3-course of nine holes, a driving range and practice greens.

Every summer there is a golf tournament, it is an unique tournament where golf is played around the clock. The tournament is played on Green Zone Golf situated at the border.
